Cyber Security & Infrastructure Specialist

Paul is a Cyber Security and Infrastructure specialist at HVCCC, an organisation which oversees the world's biggest coal export operation. With over 40 years of IT experience, he specialises in corporate and enterprise security, development of cyber defence programs and business operations protection.

Paul has a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism specialising in cyber security. He has been certified an industry professional by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)² and the Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA).

Hackers and cyber criminals are creative by nature, to outsmart them, security professionals need to be, as well. Increasing cyber security threats and the constant need to bolster information security require critical thinking, insatiable curiosity and a passion for learning and research. With a solid technical background, Paul is able to use both existing and emerging technologies to proactively implement security measures to ensure ongoing availability of systems, alignment to industry standards and strengthening security posture in response to the growing global threat of cyber attacks.

Paul is a member of ISACA, (ISC)² and the Association of Enterprise Architects.
